Great weather coupled with a great place to live in Chicago South Loop Museum Park gave me another perfect weekend. There were so many choices….
I met with a few great clients and showed them South Loop lofts, Museum Park condos and West Loop lofts and found a great place in River North and in the South Loop to move their families to. Then it was time to play and spend some time with family and friends.
I spent Friday night at The lakefront enjoying my run/walk then went to Oakley Festa Pasta Vino. Great music, wine, food and other Italians 🙂 It brought me back to my childhood.
Saturday after showing South Loop Lofts I went to Vice District Brewery in the South Loop with family including our dog Xara. They are fido friendly 🙂 and BYOF (bring your own food or order in as we did from one of our new favorite pizza places (Aurelio’s pizza). Yum!
Then off to Navy Pier to see the Fireworks and ride on the Navy Pier Centennial Wheel. The fireworks were awesome! The Centennial Wheel was amazing. So smooth and although I am afraid of heights, our ride was in a climate controlled enclosed gondola. The views were spectacular of Streeterville, The Loop, The South Loop, The Gold Coast, the boats on the water and more.
Sunday was another funday with a walk/run along the South Loop shore, past Buckingham fountain, Millenium Park gardens then to the Gold Coast Art Fair in Grant Park. It took a lot to resist spending all my money with the interesting and beautiful art.
