Chicago – South Loop Museum Park

I am looking forward to spring/summer in Chicago’s South Loop Museum Park area.  There is so much to do and see.  Within walking distance of the South Loop Museum Campus, the lakefront, Millenium Park, Grant Park, Soldier Field,  McCormick Place, the South Loop is experiencing a rush of young professionals and families that want to work and enjoy their free time close to home. A visit to the Field Museum; dance lessons and dancing under the stars or a free concert at Millennium Park; walking/running/biking along the lake shore past museums, harbors and beaches, or strolling down Michigan Avenue past the shops. restaurants and more.  Not to mention all the beautiful architecture of Chicago .   I love living here, my favorite Chicago sites are so close.   Builders are trying to keep up with the rush of people trying to move to the South Loop by building new condos and apartments.   The South Loop area is growing quickly but still has the neighborhood quiet feeling.  Walking the streets to enjoy the homes, parks, condos and businesses is a peaceful experience.  I think the lure of the Chicago South Loop Museum Park area will continue to grow as time goes on.

Some of my favorite photos from my strolls through the neighborhood.

I f you are looking to buy or sell a home in Chicago South Loop area contact me and I would be happy to help you.

Chicago Museum Park – Armand’s Victory Tap South Loop

My first visit to Chicago Museum Park‘s – Armand’s Victory Tap South Loop.  Now one of my favorite spots.  We sat at the bar as it was a busy time with no reservations but that was just perfect.  We didn’t feel cramped and the staff and ambiance was great.  High ceilings with great architecture and design, seating spread out a little and the lighting was perfect. An upscale place to go with not so upscale pricing.  Everything we had was delicious.  You can stop in for drinks, drinks and appetizers, pizza (a huge selection of appetizer size), salads, home made pastas and dinners.

We tried the Grandma’s meatballs which were just like my moms only the size of baseballs 🙂 , Calamari Calabrese with just enough spice, Casaccio Nova appetizer pizza mmmm,  home made ravioli absolutely perfect and delicious!

I can’t wait to go back….

When you try it and if you don’t live in the South Loop Museum Park area and want to live there, contact me and I can help you find a Museum Park condo or South loop loft etc in the area.
